Multi-Client Support Engineer

Our client are a Microsoft Gold Partner who provide Enterprise services & solutions across the EUC stack, infrastructure and cloud. As a high growth managed service provider and they have fostered an enviable relationship with Microsoft.

The Role:

The Technical Support Engineer will be responsible for providing our customers with high level support either as a point of escalation from the Tier 1 support engineers or in conjunction with other specialist teams within Operations. You will ensure that service level agreements are met whilst delivering reliable resolution of customer technical issues when raised via support lines, Live-chat, email or self-service portals.

We’re looking for 4 enthusiastic, career driven individual with a strong 2nd line background, looking to expand their current skill-set across EUC stack and server/AD administration who desires to progress into 3rd line technical/infrastructure support and project consulting.

Technical skills

Essential Knowledge and Skills Required:

The perfect candidate will deal with escalations from the remote team, go to different multi-client sites providing deskside support across a variety of different technologies across the EUC & Server stack including:-

  • Windows 7-10
  • Office 365 (basic admin, control panel admin)
  • Desktop/device/back-up support
  • Server Active Directory admin (AD accounts, DNS, basic troubleshooting)
  • Exchange (new users/e-mail change/admin)
  • Group Policy (basic admin/settings
  • Experience of site-based cabling/patching, routers & switches.

Ideally experience of site based support with a strong ‘bed-side’ manner with a confident ability to deal with multiple clients in an onsite/deskside environment.

Full clean drivers license is required.
