July was another record breaking month for EMBS with Simon Bucknell breaking the company record for revenue performance in one single month. Simon who is actively involved in the People Transfer staffing division successfully found eighteen employees new positions across a four week period.
Ian Stevens said "This is an incredible achievement given the current state of the market. What is even more impressive is that Simon almost set a new record the month before as well."
Simon Bucknell said "It hugely satisfying to do this and still know we have saved our customers around half of what they would have paid a recruitment agency. This is not only an EMBS record but also represents the most successful period in my career over the last 14 years."

Sarah Morledge joins the People Transfer division - We are delighted to announce the appointment of Sarah Morledge who joins EMBS as a Senior Business Advisor. Sarah comes with extensive experience of working within HR, Resourcing and Recruitment for a number of organisations including Rolls Royce.

New People Transfer service (Education & Training)
Since 2003 EMBS has offered its People Transfer services to training providers keen to recruit Trainers and Assessors across mainstream and rare vocational areas. Due to significant growth in this sector the Directors of EMBS have decided to launch a separate division of People Transfer aimed at securing new business by working with Training Providers keen to improve their internal staffing capabilities and/or by providing recruitment process outsourcing.

Major Education IT Services Business
As from February 2009 EMBS will be working onsite at Ramesys, the UK’s 2nd largest provider of IT managed services within the Education sector. Providing a range of staffing services and consultancy EMBS will be assisting Ramesys recruit operational technical and educational professionals as part of their continued growth due to significant contract wins as part of BSF (Building Schools for the Future).

As part of our multi dimensional approach the E-mediate division of EMBS has provided Ramesys with Litework, a careers portal. www.ramesyscareers.com will provide a more interactive service for Ramesys jobseekers but will also provide resourcing tools for Ramesys Hiring Managers.

EMBS are now working with Computacenter to assist them in the growth of their managed services division. Working as a key partner EMBS will be delivering volumes of technical and operational professionals in to their UK operation.

EMBS Celebrates 5th Birthday!
This month, we celebrated our 5th Birthday in style. Established for 5 years at the beginning of May, EMBS has grown significantly. After rapid growth and development due to winning Derbyshire Small Business of the Year in 2005 we have made a number of changes that has resulted in further unexpected levels of success. With turnover doubling in the last financial year we are set for steady and controlled expansion and plan to take on new staff in all divisions.

April has been an exceptional month for EMBS. Due to increased focus on business development the People Transfer team has signed up two new major corporate clients both of whom are major employers across the East Midlands. These companies operate with the travel & hospitality sectors and within the financial services market.

Office expansion
Following the sensitive renovation of our grade II list property on Friar Gate we have completed the renovation of the third floor. This is now the Executive Suite/Board Room which features full presentation functionality, network/wireless internet access and can be hired for meetings and presentations.

Major healthcare technology and services provider to the NHS has signed up to use People Transfer to ‘In-source’ their IT operation. Through a process of tender and negotiation, EMBS has secured the contract to effectively outsource the recruitment process. The People Transfer team will start by supplying key Senior Operational Management followed by lower levels of technical resource that will be responsible for managing day to day IT operations across the UK and Europe.
Simon Bucknell said “We are working very closely with the customer and have the ability to really add value due to the strategic nature of the relationship. It’s a major project for us and extremely exciting. This is a global blue chip business which demonstrates that larger organisation can benefit from the professional delivery capabilities of EMBS while significantly reducing cost."

Emediate News
The Emediate team at EMBS have been retained to provide a new website for the IOHA. The IOHA represents the global community of occupational hygienists. EMBS were selected to provide a new global website which will provide information to Occupational Hygienists across the globe. The site is due to be completely redeveloped with new interactive functionality, menu and navigation systems.
Simon Bucknell said “The Digital Print side at EMBS is really growing, taking on another web project of this scale is extremely exciting. IOHA wanted to streamline things and really liked our design ideas. We are looking forward to completing this project in the summer.” |

EMBS has experienced an impressive start to 2008. As a result the People Transfer team has expanded with the addition of a new employee. James Hall has joined the People Transfer team as a Business Advisor to aid with the expansion of the service in the Derby area. James has a background in providing business advice and comes with strong commercial skills both in staffing and also marketing and communications.
Matt Siddons has been promoted to Senior Business Advisor in recognition of his achievements for EMBS. Joining EMBS in 2004 Matt has been instrumental in successfully delivering some of the company's largest projects. He has also been proactive in developing and training new staff, implementing quality processes and strengthening our IT infrastructure and delivery capabilities.

EMBS is delighted to embark on a major new project for a start up company involved in worldwide wine tasting holidays and vineyard tours.
EMBS is involved in developing the company brand identity, website and a range of new promotional and marketing material for World Wine Tours (WWT). We will also be providing business advice and assisting the Directors of WWT in setting up the company infrastructure.
Simon Bucknell, Director said, "This is an exciting project which is proving to be extremely enjoyable. We are delighted to have been selected for this project and feel that our passion for travel, wine and web design helped us in winning the business. This site should go live in the next two months. EMBS have reached the final tendering stage for a new website project for Waterford Arts Festival, Ireland.
"We are now down to the last three and hope this will allow us to open up our services in Ireland. While we normally deliver our services regionally we were asked to tender for this project as a result of impressive online portfolio of work which is fantastic."
We expect more growth within the Digital/Print part of our business in 2008. |

huge demand for our People Transfer service EMBS has recruited
June. June, a business graduate has joined EMBS to introduce
SME's to the cost saving benefits of People Transfer.

Blinds sign up to use People Transfer - We are
delighted to announce that Hillarys Blinds have signed up
to use the People Transfer staffing service. In the first
month of using the service EMBS saved Hillarys in excess
of £10,000 that would normally have been spent on
recruitment agencies. |
